Initially, Aames Home Loan handled mortgage; then changed servicing without notice to Fairbanks and numerous difficulties began. Eight different offices in 7 different states; correct information never transferred; overbilling; payments mailed within appropriate time frame, yet delayed in order to generate late fees; incorrect or unauthorized amounts deducted via check telephone payments; charges to account without explanation; varied amounts due with each contact person in their offices at times within same hour; duplicating insurance without reason or written notice; when finally removing duplicate insurance, never refund additional interest paid during time their charges per insurance existed on account; failure to return calls; terms of original mortgage, charges, fees, etc. Change everytime they change requirement to discuss matters with another person & office in another State; i.E. Payments due by midnight or 8 P.M., then 6 P.M., 2 P.M., noon, etc; late fees billed inappropriately in advance or " within ten day grace period ";
