RAB Religious discrimination, abuse, oppression, harassment, annoyance of third parties, violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices

A friend of mine recently had a run-in with the Regional Adjustment Bureau, Incorporated, also known as RAB.

The individual my friend spoke to goes by the name of Brian Johnson, and claims to be a manager at RAB.

This individual has committed the following egregious violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices, according to the Midsouth BBB:
-Oppression
-Abuse
-Harassment
-Annoyance of Third Parties
-Calls at inappropriate times or places
-Inappropriate threats of legal action

In addition, this individual has made threatening, anti-semitic, and religiously discriminatory remarks to my friend, even going so far as to directly insult my friend's religious faith before disconnecting on him.

I would assume that this sort of treatment of other human beings is not the sort of behavior any reputable agency would want representing them.

My best advice to anyone dealing with this agency, and especially with this individual, is to give them nothing. Speak to no one except to request a manager, register your phone number on the do not call list for your area, and say nothing to anyone until you are able to speak to their President, Mr. Steve Smith (who, of course, they will refuse to give you any contact information for whatsoever).
