Bill m. Whitaker - pres bill whitaker lied at haskell bank of abilene lied to us and we lost our truck

My wife and I had to sell our only truck to make our health insurance payments and our house payment so the health insurance would not be cancelled and we would not lose our house. One of Haskell Banks customer came over and wanted us to take a check and said we could call his banker and verify the funds so we call the bank President Bill M. Whitaker of Haskell Bank of Abilene and he told us if we let the man take our truck and the title and the man would leave a $ 7000.00 check for us that he would wire the funds for the check directly to our bank the next morning so we would have the funds available the next day to pay our bills. We called the bank this morning and left 3 messages and no one called us back. We then called the bank and Bill Whitaker was now at lunch and we asked to speak to his " assistant " Janie and she was very rude to us and hung up on us. We called back and she was very loud and rude and said " you will get your money when we send it " and we asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she was the only one at the bank (which was not true). We still do not have our money and if we do not wire our money today for our health insurance it will be cancelled. We feel like we have been scammed out of our money and they have our $ 7000.00 truck. We had this truck for 8 years and would have never sold it if we knew we would have to wait on the money. This bank is very unprofessional and obviously does not care about people. I cannot believe they are still in business if this is the way they treat people. We are at the mercy of thes bad bankers and all we can do is hope and pray that they send us our money. Watch out for this bank they are rude and they will mislead you.
