They have my money and I want it back!

We have been paying our mortgagee Taylor Bean and Whitaker monthly mortgage payments using a weekly program for over a year. We thought it would be great having our mortgage payments along with our taxes and house insurance taken out of our checking account each week. However our mortgage was with Taylor Bean and Whitaker who filed bankruptcy and was basically shut down by the government.
We had no idea. Never got a letter or anything.
Now another bank has obtained our mortgage and wants us to pay our September house payment. We have over 1000.00 being held or frozen in the account at Colonial Bank. I want to know why Pay Map Western union sent those funds to colonial Bank knowing Taylor Bean went out of business.
My husband and I can't afford to make a Sept payment because he is without a job and I make enough to pay the mortgage each week.
All they will say is they have no control over this and basically we are stuck...
Not Fair at all if you ask me.
I want answers from someone. I want my money back so I can pay my Sept. Payment to our new mortgagee.
