They overcharged me on my payoff of my mortgage with charges that are illegal

My mortgage company overcharged me of my payoff. They charged me two $1283.50 charges to my payoff when I closed on the sale of my house. They will not provide me any information on what the charges are, only that they are legal/advancements.
According to my online loan activity, they show as misc bankruptcy/foreclosure proceedings.in 2003 I did file a chapter 13 bankruptcy and completed the plan.in Feb my case was discharged and a motion was filed to deem the mortgage current (meaning they could not add on any additional charges to my account.) They attempted to get the money from me then by adding onto my payment, but after informing them of the above and submitting documentation they ceased. Well, they are and unfortunately I had to pay them.
I am getting no where with an explation from them. I am put on hold for long periods of time and hung up on. This is a large amount of money I am out and need to get returned. I am hoping not to contact a lawyer but will if I have too.
