Business & Finance

My fiance and i have been trying to rebuild our credit this past year by applying for credit cards.in doing so my fiance received a phone call from First Choice Credit Card offering him a 2,000.00 credit card secured for only 296.00 which would be charged on his first statement (not out of his checking account). He agreed but very foolishly gave out his checking account information (not thinking they would withdraw the money from the checking account). About 3 weeks later we receive a statement showing the money being withdrawn from his account.

We contacted the number given to us by our bank 1-800-704-9552 only to hold for about an hour. Finally a representative answered and i was told he would call me back with the recorded conversation of my finace authorizing them to take this money. We never received a call, and they arent returning any of our messages. Luckily we caught the transaction within 60 days and have a chance at getting the money back. I hope this helps any one thinking of getting a credit card over the phone. Dont fall for this, it is a scam.
