Ripoff victimized many consumers

I was contacted by a company claiming to credit source - the represenative who called claimed to have all my personal information and just needed to verify acct info. I was leary about ever giving this information and was transferred to her manager when hesitant about the situation. He stated state and federal laws that they were bound to and stated that this is a benefit to anyone needing assisstance with credit monitoring and an additional line of credit for emergency's.

After giving my banking information which was recorded i was hung up on when i asked another question. I tried to call the # given to me by natalie 800 704 9552 and have continued to get the company's hrs of operation and voicemail where i never receive a return call.

I started to become desperated b/c this company is to draft my checking account on 03/18 for 298.00 - i got online and and looked up the company name credit source and low and behold there was a posting of the scam and a company posing as them and to beware. I have contacted my banking institution and i am following the steps to stop pymt via aff. And closing the account.
