Ripoff scam dirt bags

I am currently waiting for a Payoff Letter from Upland Mortgage Company. They are being uncooperative, insulting, rigid and rude to me. There is no reason for their behavior except to harrass people and punish them for switching lenders. I intend to bring legal action against them if at all possible. I hope other people similarly affect will consider bringing legal action against this nasty company.

When I called to find out the procedure for submitting a request for the Payoff Letter they failed to tell me about the (UNREASONABLE) 7 day period they need for generating a Payoff Letter. My third telephone call to them was today and I asked to speak with someone in Administration, preferably the CEO of the company. They transferred to me the Customer Service Department. They woman I spoke with today told me there was an alternative to getting some of the information I would receive in the Payoff Letter. She said they were willing to fax me my mortgage payment history, with my interest rate and outstanding balance. The fax was sent promptly and I did receive it but do not have the official Payoff Letter my lender need to close my financing.

I'm not giving up. I will call them again on Monday and push for them to fax me my Payoff Letter.
