Upland Mortgage - American Business Financial - American Business Credit - American Business Mortgage ripoff Deceptive Uncooperative

I have a mortgage with this company and have never seen anything like it in my life! First off they did not pay off things that were listed on the disclosure sheet, resulting in attachments being placed on my home. They will not admit they done this, and want me to show proof of their mess up.

I asked for a photocopy of the checks where they paid the things listed on the loan disclosure sheet, so I could get it cleared up myself so I could refinance. No use use in asking for a payoff from these people. I was told they would have to have a request for payoff from the lender so I had the lender contact them and after a few days my new lender calls and tells me they wont give her the payoff without my approval. I call Upland again about the payoff and they say they have to have it in writing from me before they will release it. I ask if they can't just pull it up on their computers and was told that what they had on the computer wouldn't be accurate.

This battle has been going on for over ten months and has led to a court filed foreclosure on my home due to Uplands strong arm tactics causing me to be unable to get refinanced. I had new financing approved two different times and thanx to Upland both deals fell thru. The loan officers of both companies said they had never seen a company as uncoperative as Upland and I hope I never do again.

For all you people out there with loans thru Upland, I wish you luck. And for all of you people thinking about financing with Upland, please beware.

Not only have they jerked the consumers around but it seems that ABFI (uplands parent company) has also jerked their investors around too with their deceptive ways..
