Fairbanks Capital ripoff They refused to accept payoff, verbally abused us, incorrectly billed us, and charged excessive interest

My mortgage was bought by these people and February 1 was my first pay date. They sent me an incorrect bill for $1223 when by actual payment was $2286 - I called them the employee was verbally abusive. I sent the correct amount.

I refinanced my home and signed papers on March 6th — Fairbanks refused to fax a pay off amount. I went home to Scotland as my brother is ill and did not know there was a problem. They sent me a late pay notice on April 16th. I called and advised I had refinanced. They told me I was a liar and a dirtbag and that I did not want to pay my April payment as I had spent the money for my mortgage going home.

I finally got a supervisor who faxed the information over to the title company. The title money sent the check and Fairbanks refused it stating thee was a sort pay.
They also charged me over $3300 in interest payments from March through April. I was told not to pay the shortpay as they have to accept what they send as a pay off and this went on until finally on May 28th they took the $797 short pay and hopefully it is paid off.in the meantime I made the payment to my new lender and Fairbanks also sent me a notice of Impending foreclosure.

These people are a menace verbally abusive and unresponsive. I hope they are out of business after paying everyone back what the owe and that the head people go to jail. If the are not put in jail it should be made that they can no longer run a business or give information in running a business to anyone else in any capacity. I would gladly testify against them.
