We were a foster home in desperate need of larger home and guess what? There was the perfect size house right around the corner from where we had lived for ten years. Our agent said that the owner already had it inspected. She followed through and since everything was supposed to be legal we looked and found water leaking in bathroom so we payed 5,000 more to have that fixed.

Now mind you, this is on all our papers 5 bed 1 bath kitchen dining, and play room with large furnace room. So we get to move in on Jan. 1st 2000. The kitchen sink blows, we fix it, The bathroom wall blows through the black putty on the pipes and the cheap plywood (yes I said plywood.) We again fixed it and we paid the mortgages regulary for two years. Then Fairbanks said we are late 2 days and without further notice supposively sold the contract.

The next company says we are 60 days late and want 1600 dollars. We called and they said they have no knowledge of fairbanks recieving money and that we are 90 days late and they want 2200 dollars. So we paid them, and yes they forgot to mention that they also had sold the contract back to Fairbanks. Fairbanks now has no record of any of these companies, but they do know that at that time by their records, were almost 6 months late and going into forclosure.

So we tried to go chapter 13 bankruptcy but both morgage companies denied it. So know that we are 1 year late they are going to kick us and the five kids to the street and have ruined our credit and we don't have credit cards. So if you get a contract that says fairbanks or contract servicing run run far because if you're not able to pay the balance they will screw you for every ounce of pride and sanity you thought you might of had.
