New math? Theft from their own customers, rude, customer no service treats you like you are an idiot lake city florida

I have read these reports in the past, and quite honestly, I thought that most of these people were just mad because they got charged for intentional overdrafts that they created. I feel now that some of the complaints may be unjust, but I do have a new understanding of just how things work with this bank. I never imagined that if a person who had never had an overdraft, and actually had money in a savings account with this same bank, made an error, that they would be treated like trash. I was oh so wrong.

I am currently in between jobs, and have to transfer money from my savings account to cover my expenses, I have been doing this for the three months since I left my job. I wrote a check for my rent the first part of June, and you guessed it, I forgot to make the transfer. I had a bit of overflow in my checking account, so it didn't become an issue until the second week of the month. Apparently, I was overdrawn for three days before I happened to remember my error. I totally understand that I screwed up, but I had been charged 16 fees $560.00, I use my debit card for everything. Only one of the charges that I had made was more that $20.00. I felt sick, but thought that the bank would adjust these fees for a good customer, at least reduce them, after I explained that it was a big mistake, I obviously had the money in savings. I was mistaken. After further exam of the account, I realized that I had been charged NSF fees for 4 items that were covered by my balance, surely they will correct this, instead, I was treated like an idiot for not understanding their math. I had 10 items that went through on the day that the overdraft first happened, after redating, and large items first policy, I had enough money to cover the first four of the largest debits, on my transaction record, downloaded from the website, these items went through leaving a positive balance, but with BOA math, I have to pay fees for these items, I thought it was a computer error, but apparently, I am stupid, or that's the impression I got from the customer service person.
