Ripoff scam con artists

They repeatedly called me wanting payment. They were so nice at first and offered me a 45% settlement on my providian card. (i had explained my husband had been hurt in an accident and that we had only had one income at the time.) they said if i would pay 200.00 a month for 4 mths it would be settled and reported on my credit report. I asked for it in writing. They sent me a proposal letter agreeing to 45% -800.00.

When i got it paid i called them about my credit report. They said the cust. Rep should have never agreed to 45% and that i needed to send them another 191.00 to make it a 50% settlement. I refused. Now providian has turned it over to another collection agency for the original amt minus 800.00. The new collection company says i have to prove all this. Nafs refuses to send me a paid/settlement letter they say the amount they sent me wasn't right. They have purposely stolen 800.00 from me.
