Smaller Charge Held Back To Trigger Two Overdraft Fees

My account was low, and I had a bill that was supposed to clear my account and I was going to take money out of my savings and add some to cover the amount. And about 4 or 5 days before, I used my card for a 4.90 charge. They held the smaller charge till the larger charge came in so they could hit me with 2 overdrafts.

The company with the larger bill also over charged me which I was not expecting so if I had of had just one over draft I could have understood that. When I called to ask why they had done that the guy told me I needed to learn how to balance my account. Since then I've had a couple of charges to my account w/overdrafts and I haven't even used my card. I've had this happen before but I just thought I had made a mistake with my account. I have heard that they have been sued for doing this in the past, however, that was just hearsay. You know people are having a hard time right now and the future isn't looking to good, so someone needs to stop all
these ripoff companies out there.
