Vertex One - Global Financial
Took money out of my account without sending me anything cheated employees and screwed the customers even more

If anyone out there recieves a phone call from any telemarketers for Global Financial, or Vertex One Beware! First of all, i had recieved a call from a telemarketer in Canada (the leading country in telemarketing fraud) the were calling from Global Financial Membership Processing Centre, and i was approved for a stored value Visa or Mastercard with a PAY AS YOU GO balance of $2500. So that means that you are not actually getting a credit card from this company, what you are getting is a chance to rebuild your credit rating. So far it doesn't sound that bad. Most people do need some sort of credit restoration. The part that is upsetting is that these telemarketers that are phoning me are pretending to give us credit cards. I even asked the young Canadian lady "is this an actual credit line of $2500?" She said of course it is, you can use it wherever Visa of Mastercard is accepted. I thought that was great, i needed some credit so i said sure! Now as well as getting a CREDIT CARD, the lady let me know that i am also getting a package sent out to me within 18 days, and in my package i will be getting things like home loan financing options, a free cell phone, $500 in free grocerys, a $100 in free gas, a free sattelite dish, 3 day/2 night vacation. Plus much much more. It kind of sounded too good to be true, but she had assured me that for a small one time fee of $221.95 i could have it all, plus my credit card which it too has no annual fees, no financing fees, 0 interest forever, and it is not a secured card. So basically what they want you to believe is that they are calling you to give you a credit card, when in actuality you are basically getting a debit card that helps you build credit. Now they don't need any personal info from you like ssn's, but they do need one thing, your chequing account number and your routing number, so they can withdraw the amount on a day of your choice. BE AWARE! Don't give your chequing information to people you have no idea who you are. They did withdraw the money from my account on a day that i chose, but months later i still did not recieve my package. I phoned and gave the company my tracking number to find out what was going on. They were giving me the run around though and i never did get my package. Now what was more ironic, days after i had got the call from the lady from Global Financial i had got a call from another credit restoration company. They were called Vertex One Benefits Group. Get this, they were offering me the exact same thing. I mean THE EXACT SAME THING, even down to the benefits package they are "supposed to send you". I couldn't believe it, in my opinion it was the same company using multiple names. Neither company is the least bit reputable and their internet sites are almost the exact same, also a weird coincidence. So a word to the wise in the future if you recieve any phone calls from people from Global Financial or Vertex One do not give them you banking information. For all those who it is too late, i want you to know that like i did, make sure you have you reciept that you should have made and quickly phone and cancel your order, becuase both companies promised a full money back guarantee.
