Ripoff threatening tatics

I too went to Ace Check Cashing and wrote a check. At the time they were more than willing to refinance my loan due to my economic situation. When I was told I could no longer extend due to the 3 time rule in IN I informed them that the check would not go through and could I set up payments.

They refused sent the check thru multile time went to my bank to try and cash it and other tatics. This has been over a year ago. I got a phone call from a lady who was the devil herself telling me that I needed to retain a lawyer and I had I ever been picked up at my job by the police was I on probation and other scare tatics. It did scare me and i sent them a partial payment. They weren't happy with that and told me I had to pay the balance in two payments.

I told them I couldn't do that but I would be willing to pay $50.00 a month until paid off. They refused told me good luck and to get an attorney. Now 6 months after that phone call I got another one stating the same thing. I tried to explain to them that my situation had forced me into bankruptcy and I could not pay the loan as my earlier attempt to settle had been turned down I had included this in my bankruptcy.

He told me that I was a dead beat and the courts would reject my bankruptcy with them included and I would still go to jail. As far as I am aware this would have to go to small calims court and you can file on any judgement. I mean if I can file on back taxes why not this?
