Hurricane Ike Damages

We had damages from the hurricane and this company is giving us the run around concering our claims. They are holding money that is owe us, because they say that we need to seen in more invoices to amount to over $14.000 which was our damages and our deductable was $8,200. They sent us $4,579.12. Now we are told that we need an additional $8,000 of invoices before we are intitle to the balance of the claim money. Now if they took the $8,200 deduction from the $14,000 of damages. Then where is the remainder of the money going? We keep spending money that we do not have to repair our home because the insurance we had is not there it is a rip off. Can you help us? If not us maybe it will help someone else. Thank You Julia Jackson
