Pre-foreclosure fees, unauthorized insurance charges and calls at all hours

ContiMortgage sold our loan to Fairbanks Capital. Nothing but deception, outlandish fees and downright rudeness from the onset.

Two customer reps never have the same story.

They apply payments wherever it suits their needs, even if specified on checks or in phone payments. When questioned about this, we were told that their policy is that they can apply our money wherever or whenever they want.

We requested correspondence by mail only, but they continue to harass us by telephone. Calls come anytime, day or night.

When asked for documentation of fees, they will not send it. They are charging for life insurance fees that we did not authorize, nor do they seem to know what it is for or why we have it.

We have been charged PRE-FORECLOSURE fees of over $300.00 at least 3 times, and we were only 30 days late once; other times we were not even 12 days late on payments.
