Attempts to charge Late Fees and to Forclose ripoff business from hell Jacksonville, Fla

I thought I was alone until I found this web site!

This company has harassed us with threatened foreclosure, stating that we were behind 3 payments; when all were paid on time.

At least 3 times in this last year, they applied payments maid to our Home Equity loan to our Mortgage instead. We even have a canceled check where they crossed off the Memo line that listed our HE Account# and then they wrote in the Act# of our Mortgage.

Then they insisted that we supply them with copies of the checks for June and July '01. When we did that, they changed their minds and said the period in question was March and May. Then is was May through Sept.!

We threatened to get a lawyer, but did not have to get one when they finally agreed that the loans were both paid current.

Now we get a letter that the load is transferred to Fairbanks Capitol, and they are saying we are behind in our payments and owe late fees.

It looks like it is starting ALL OVER AGAIN. CAN SOME ONE STOP THESE THIEVES? What does it take to start a Class Action Law Suit?
