Bank Of America
Couldn't Get Help Needed

Business & Finance

I went -3.86$ on Friday. I quickly went to the bank after work which was when the bank was closed. So my receipt for my account said 16.14$ so I let out a sigh of relief. I checked my account again on Saturday and it was still the same. I went to work on Monday and bought a sandwich at Subway and then bought batteries and gum at the gas station that day. I check my account on Tuesday and it says I am at -66 something and I freak out but its after six o clock so there is nothing I can do.

I go to work today and then go in to the bank as soon as I am done. The young woman who helps me tells me she can reverse two of the charges but I am being charged an additional two more because I used my account when it was in the negative on Monday. I told her that I only used it because I checked my account at an atm those days and it says I was ok. If my account was sooo far into the negative why did the transactions even go through? Don't you have enough of my money? So I'm going to be paying the supposed transactions that took place that made my account go negative, but not the fees and take my business elsewhere. I understand why my account went negative, but not reversing the other two charges when my account told me I have money I think is ridiculous.

I don't know who else has had a problem like this, but in these troubling times shouldn't we get a break once in awhile?
