Bank Of America
Their computer not saying what my computer print out says

Business & Finance

I bank at Bank of America, and I check my online checking account daily and twice if it becomes low, so if I need to, I will add money in to avoid overdrafts. I also keep my checkbook balanced to avoid any problems.

The last 2 pay periods, I have received 3 overdraft charges each, totalling $210. My computer bank statement shows that I am in positive territory thoughout the night and the next morning, when my direct deposit goes in at midnight. The overdrafts appear after my deposit goes in. I went to my branch to argue about this. This is what they told me.

The first time a $40 check went in at just before midnight, just before my direct deposit went through... How convenient for them. So there is $105 in 3 overdrafts. The second one, they couldn't figure out why I went negative, but because "This is the 2nd time I've requested a reversal within 30 days, they can't do anything." Hence, the next 3 overdrafts for $105. Not only do I look at my account constantly, but last year I had $350,000 in CD's in this branch. I was fortunate to pay off our house through an inheritance.

I guess I can trust them with that kind of money, but they don't seem to trust me for one minute. This sounds to me like we will pay for their mistakes in more ways than the Bailout Plan.
