PNC Bank
Held a check until my debits cleared then posted the check first to get ridiculous nsf fees

Business & Finance

I wrote a check on a friday, the daycare deposited the check on a friday. On Monday my account was in the positive and i was able to purchase some items with my debit card. My debit card transactions was shown on my statement online as posted. I realize that i didnt have enough to cover my check which still wasnt showing to have cleared online on thursday. On Friday to my surprise they posted the check for Monday and all my debits after giving me 7 over draft fees. They switched everything around so that i would get charged all of those fees and only refunded 2 fees. Now they are holding another check written last Wednesday and deposited by the daycare on Wednesday afternoon, the check still hasnt posted and it is Tuesday of the next week, I have enough in my account this time to cover the check and leave a balance of $100, I think they are waiting for me to use my debit card so they can do the same thing to me but I am not touching my debit card until that check clears. My advice, be careful using your debit card, PNC has a way of altering transactions to their advantage leaving you with nsf fees out of the butt. My suggestion, withdraw cash out of the branch when you go shopping, its inconvenient but it will save you a hassle with these blood suckers.
