Scam rip-off. Thank You consumer complaints

On February 19 I received a letter from Consumer First. This letter said that I had been approved for a credit limit of $5,000. This was a red light for me, seeing that I have just turned eighteen years old and have no credit.

The second red light along with many others was that it was a Platinum Card (VISA OR MASTERCARD NOT SPECIFIED). They then said "YOU MAY USE YOUR PLATINUM CARD IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT FOR ALL PURCHASES FROM CREDIT PROVIDER."

They gave no additional information on this credit card they were offering. They then asked for a 45.00 dollar fee for standard delivery and $49.00 for Rush Delivery.

Now, I admit when I first received this offer I was ready to jump on it. Eighteen w / a platinum card w / a $5,000 limit. I read over it carefully and decided to do some research.

This is when I found this website. I appreciate you all being here to make me aware of the scam that they are running on people. I also appreciate being able to express my case, in hope that this does not happen to anyone and they are scammed.
