Received possible scam letter.

Offer is a guaranteed platinum card with a credit limit of $5,000. It does not disclose that it is a credit card, but a platinum card. Fails to disclose any real details. Most likely, it is a catalog credit line, not a credit card such as Visa. The following statement is on it, but is very misleading: "You may use your platinum card immediately upon receipt for all purchases from credit provider."

So beware.
