Robbing money for transactions

The biggest mistake of my life is to open a bank account with PNC BANK. These guys are literally robbers in the form of a bank. I went to the bank for exchanging some dollars into rupees. I told them I want to exchange a $1000 dollars and they told me that I would be charged 2 cents as a commission for every dollar traded. Fine so far. At that time, $1 = 50 rupees. After 10 days hey give me my money saying a 7 rupee fee for every dollar traded also applies according to some foreign policies of the bank along with the 2 cents. This gives me a straight 20% loss or you can say $200 for no fault of mine. So I told them I don't want any transaction, please take your money back and give me my $1000 back as it is. They said OK and it might take up to 6 weeks for the processing. Fine even with that! Then after 6 weeks I get back only $782. Now no one in the customer care helps me now. The bank employee says she is helpless and it is the bank policy to return only that much money once it is traded.

I never touched any money of theirs, I just went there for one transaction and straight $218 loss for me in my one thousand. This is a pathetic bank with very under skilled labor whose IQ levels are way below a 7th grade school going kid. Please beware of this bank and go for trusted banks like.

Bottomline: Avoid PNC BANK!
