Fifth Third Bank
Ruins Credit... Tries to collect money after loan has been satisfied... Irresponsible bank

Business & Finance

I purchased a vehicle which was then financed through Fifth Third bank. One month later I traded this vehicle for a truck at a dealership. The dealership that I traded the vehicle to satisfied the loan at Fifth Third Bank. It has been 5 months now and Fifth Third Bank continues to send me Past Due notices on a car I don't own anymore. I have contacted them and they say that the loan is not satisfied. The dealership that I traded the car with has contacted 5/3 numerous times as to why they have not closed the account and why 5/3 had deducted the 14,000 plus dollars from their account to satisfy the loan but the status of the loan still states a full balance owed. On top of this... Everytime that I received a delinquent notice, 5/3 deducts 600 plus dollars from the dealership I traded with's bank account. 5/3 is literally stealing money from the dealership and stealing credit from me. This loan is showing open on my credit report making it appear I am using close to 85% debt to income. This has lowered my credit rating by close to 40 points so far. To top it off 5/3 automatically set up an insurance plan on this car that I am responsible for paying... I do not own this car. Ripoff... Ripoff... Ripoff.
Someone else at this very moment owns this car and I am being held responsible for paying for this car by 5/3 and they have stolen over 14,000 dollars from a local dealership that I traded the car to. I want my credit back... And I want this irresponsible bank out of my life. Wow... It's not hard to figure out why this company has over 4.8 Billion dollars in assets.

280 reports on this bank... How do we file a class action lawsuit against this bank. It is well passed due for this bank to pay up!
