Loan rip-off

I was told that I was approved for a $7,000 loan and that I needed to send in $800 to secure the loan. I was told to go to Wal-Mart and use money gram to speed the process and I would have the money wired the next day. I did as I was told and the next day there was no money. I called back to cancel my loan and was told it takes 30 days to get the money back, by certified check. Now that the 30 days is here I called them back and it seems the company is gone. The phones don't work and the web site has "ERROR 404".
