Leadlink Financial
Lied, Flaky, Un-reliable!

Miscellaneous

I found Leadlink online and filled out their online application. A STEVEN ANDERSON called me a few days later and left me a message saying that I was approved for a 6,000 loan. I felt relieved and too excited to even care how I did it with my credit. I called him back and asked how the process worked. He told me that I would have to put a down payment of $975 (by Money Gram) and the funds would be available to me the next morning.

This was a Friday night and I told him that I would get off work by 5:30. He said to call him then and he would talk me through getting the Money Gram. I called him back after work and he never answered. I then called him Monday morning and asked what had happened and he apologized so I thought nothing of it. I asked him if it was ok that I only had $600 to put down.

He said he would talk to his supervisor and 5 seconds later approved the $600. Again I went to the nearest Wal-Mart to purchase this Money Gram for $600 and sent it to a guy named ANDREW G. Ward. I gave STEVEN ANDERSON the reference number to the money gram and he said "Congratulations, your funds will be in your account tomorrow morning." I asked what time, he said around 9 am.

He also said that someone from the office would be contacting me to welcome me or whatever and let me know that the funds were available. I woke up the next morning and NO funds were available. I called their office and was told to call the customer service line at extension 100. I did that and another guy, whose name I did not catch due to the lack of professionalism in his voice because he was mumbling the whole time I was talking to him, told me that the funds were not in my account because my file had to be run by a second review and they now required from me a second payment of $600.

First of all, If I knew that this loan was gonna cost me $1200 I wouldnt have agreed to it and Secondly, STEVEN ANDERSON never told me about a second review, a second payment, or anything that this mumbling man was telling me. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me he was the manager. I asked to speak to STEVEN ANDERSON because that was not the agreement when I got this loan and he said that as soon as a customer agrees with a loan the file gets passed on to the customer service room.

Yeah it was agreed upon but not on the NEW terms that this man was giving me. I asked for a REFUND and he told me that it would take 30 days to process the refund. If I could get $600 to him in 1 night... I'm pretty sure they can refund my $600 in one night also. I really really really highly recommend that nobody TRUST in Leadlink Financial. They give you high hopes and finish you off with regret. Who knows If i'll ever see that $600 again. I did however file a complaint with the Attorney General of New Hampshire. I hope this gets resolved soon.
