Overdraft King!

I also have been hit by the overdraft King known as BOA... I was recently shopping and stopped at a BOA atm just to check on my account that had just had a deposit in the account for $300 to my surprise I only had around $4 available but the deposit was just put in the night before and that night I had available $15. They had hit me with "balance inquiry" fees that caused my account to go overdraft and in turn charged me almost $290 in fees because my charges from that day which were allowed to go through an I was never informed, no phone call, nothing! I called in and spoke to a manager who told me she could credit the "balance inquiry" fees but the overdraft fees could not be credited since they were valid? How could they credit the fees that caused my overdraft but not credit the overdraft fees that were a result of fees not even a manger could explain why they were there? I have essentially been charged at least $500 in overdraft fees within 6 months! I finally was escallated to a manager of managers who would then credit 2 fees totaling $78 of my money that was stolen from me in the first place? When I asked why they paid larger charges first then smaller ones causing more fees for consumers I was informed that they sent out a survey to consumers to find out what they would want paid first and this was what was seen was the wishes of their clients. All I know is I never received any survey and of most of the people I know never received one either!!! Now I would love to know what moron would vote that on a survey other than maybe the CEO but if you did at least get a survey I would love to know so I can at least sleep easy at night knowing that BOA did send it out at least??? I think the government should be the one that sets rules on these banks that help people not banks!!!
