Countrywide sells my home during modification Calabasas, California

After months of trying to refinance my mortgage it could not happen as the value dropped below what I owed. At the end of August I called CW again this time to ask for help in modifying my loan. (I had been in contact via phone and fax for 7 months) When I called they told me my home had a trustee sale in Sept. They were not going to listen then realized I never had notice, although they said it was posted on my door (I never saw it!) and, never signed for any notice of sale. I begged for help. They started the circus of modification. My sale was postponed and they told me that until the foreclosure company that sells the homes could prove I was given notice by certified mail they would postpone the sale.

I sent 2 seperate faxes of information in September and by Oct. 13 could not get anyone to talk to me and had left messages from Oct. 13 to Oct. 27th begging someone to call me back. On Oct. 27th the customer service answered but told me only the foreclosure department could give me the negotiators name who now had my file (3rd one). On Oct. 30th I got through to the foreclosure manager who I had been leaving messages for and THEY SOLD MY CONDO! I said it couldn't have, they then told me that in California we do not have to sign for the certified trustee sale info and that that I didn't comply with returning calls/information! That is crap! I have phone numerous phone messages begging for them to call me, the foreclosure department even tried on Oct. 7 to get the negotiator to give me a number, but they never called me.

Now, I'm left in a circle again with the attorneys office who handled the sale, his secretary told me that he was so busy that I had to understand I was not the only one trying to talk to him! WHAT KIND OF WORLD ARE WE LIVING IN!

Countrywide was suppose to be helping me modify the loan that had predatory issues as well as being too expensive and my home 100 thousand dollars valued under what I owed. They sold it for 296 thousand and my total owed was 460,000. The first with them was 350 thousand and all I wanted was an interest and principal reduction and to be able to keep the home!
Who knows what to do now???
