They say someone will call you, but no one ever calls. Simi

Business & Finance

Due to unemployment we were behind on our mortgage and in foreclosure during the summer of 2007. I spent my summer trying to get a hold of my negotiator. I called frequently. Although I always returned their phones calls (although never getting a hold of them) they closed out our workout. Then I would have to be assigned a new person once that was finally assigned I could once again try the telephone tag. Finally just a few weeks before foreclosure sale I managed to get a hold of the right person. We were first put in modification then they decided we couldn't do modification we needed a repayment to modification. So we signed those papers.

We made every payment early, although they didn't ever post them until the due date.in November, I made my last repayment payment. I immediately called to tell them I had sent it Western Union. I asked what would happen next. They said I would be contacted within 7-10 days by a modification workout negotiator. No one called.

I called 10 days later and found that my payment hadnt even been posted. I was once again told I would be assigned someone in 7-10 days.

Long story short no one has ever called me. I called and talked to someone about the repayment (not my negotiator but someone who would relay the information) and they said because I was now working we no long qualified for the modification and need to be sent back to repayment. Do you believe that they won't modify the loan because we make too much money??? That sounds like we are going backwards even though we have made every payment since August and that keeps us in foreclosure instead of moving us out of foreclosure.in December, I called and talked with a supervisor who said she would see if they could keep it in modification and she would call me back that day. She has never called back. Dec 20th I faxed a letter to the CEO. Jan 3rd I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were in a meeting and would call me within 24-48 hours - again no call.

We have done everything we were supposed to do since August. I don't know what to do next. So here I sit 59 days after I was told I would hear from someone in 7-10 days. I have called at least once a week and they always say someone will call me back in 24-48 hours. They don't call.
