Account closed after constant credit error, Equifax report

I have banked with BB&T for more than ten years. I have my car loan, college loan, and three other checking and saving accounts with them, and an account that my mother is on to help her write checks (she is 73). They are now closing my basic checking account because it was overdrawn for 2 weeks.

However, when I went in 6 months ago to set up a constant credit account to connect to this account, the manager himself set it up, and I was never informed that it would not work. The only thing the woman said to me was that she was "sorry" that the computer dropped the constant credit account that was supposed to be attached to my account. Ten years of doing business with them, a computer slams me, and all I get is "sorry."

Well, they are a sorry bank, and the only reason I was still doing business with them was that my elderly mother does not want to move all of our accounts. You can tell they do not want your business, because a good company would have taken the time to say, "Yes, we made an error, and we had four other options: we could have pulled money out of four other accounts, disregarding the constant credit." I plan on telling everyone who will listen how sorry a bank they are and (that was in the woman's exact words, I might add) how much they care.

I am so sick about this that I am going to sell my car to get out of paying them for the car loan and break into my IRAs to pay off my college loans, just to not deal with them anymore. Oh, did I forget to mention they also reported me to Equifax? The woman at the bank's exact words were: "Well, I don't know if you want to close all of your other accounts with us, you know you have been reported to the credit company and can't go open a bank account anywhere else."

Well, I guess I have no other option but BB&T. They mess up, punish me, and still want me around to collect money off of me. No thanks. I will bury my money outside in a bucket before I keep it with BB&T. They are a sorry bank!!!
