HSBC Bank
Collection Dept. - non-customer service

Business & Finance

In the past three weeks HSBC has called my phone number at least 3 to 5 times per day asking for one of their customers who used to live in this apartment building about three years ago. He was evicted right after we moved in. Even though I have explained to their representatives 3 or 4 times that I don't know him and that this is not his phone number, they continue to call. They always hang up on me when I am trying to explain that they have the wrong number. They evidently did a reverse address look up and got my number, but I can't seem to get it across to them that he doesn't live here and never has lived in this apartment, or even on this floor. The phone calls start at 8:00 in the morning (we work second and are trying to sleep). So far today I have had 4 phone calls and that was before 1:00 daylight savings time. I have tried calling them back and contacting them by internet, but can't get anywhere because you have to enter a account number. I would like to have this taken care of but don't know where to turn. I have never had one of their cards, accounts, etc. And never will.in fact if this is the way they treat people I would actively campaign against them. I will be contacting my states representative as soon as I get through here. These phone calls are harassment.
