Countrywide told me I could do a loan modification and never followed thorugh

5 months ago I called Countrywide to ask for help to reduce my interest rate on my loan. I refinanced my house on a 3yr fixed when my 3yrs was up I called and asked if I could have my rates frozen they said I would have to send them certain information and they would get back with me which they never did. I then just continued to pay my payments as I was supposed to at a 6.5% rate now less than one year later my house payments went from 693.00 a month to 1063.00 a month almost double what my payments used to be. 5 months ago I called countrywide to ask if I could do the lower interest payments because I was forced to move out of Michigan due to the economy and getting laid off from my job, now having 2 housse payments to make they informed me that I needed to send them a hardship letter with a copy of all my bills and they would get back with me in 45 days with an answer if that was something I could do.

2 months later I called them again and got no positive response I sent letters with all my payments begging them to help me out still no response. Now all I get is 5 months later emails asking me to take the lower your payment challenge (which is just refinancing my home and having more closing costs added on to my balance). I am struggling here big time being a single mother of one having an empty house in Michigan and paying rent on another one in the state i had to move to to acquire a job. I have another payment that was techinically due by the 15th but I didn't have the money so now this Friday with my 900.00 biweekly paycheck I have to pay a car payment, a partial house payment and still not have any money to pay my other bills or even afford to get food in the house. I have noticed that there are quite a few complaints against COuntrywide for the same thing I am having happent to me.

Is there anyone out there who has had any luck getting any help on this matter. I don't know what else to do here I was told to call and speak to the President of the company which I have done before because I have had problems with this company in a different matter before and had to take that route which was successful to a degree so this I am going to do tomorrow but they should not be able to do this kind of thing to people. I am trying to save my credit and not lose my house but if they keep doing this I may be forced to let my house go back and I really don't want to do that I take alot of pride int he fact that I have good credit and I would really like to keep it that way. Help me out Please... Any Ideas??? Anyone
