CPS has contacted me several times at work after I've asked them not to. The discrepancy with them comes from people not doing their jobs and noting accounts like they should. 1st, my car was in an accident, me being the responsible person I am, I contacted CPS to make them aware of the incident. I gave them my claim #, they contacted my insurance adjuster and told him to indorse the check to both me and them. My adjuster did so and called me and told me I needed to send the check to CPS for them to indorse it and they will send it to the body shop. NOT! I endorsed the check and sent it to the body shop, problem solved.

CPS called the body shop and told them I endorsed and cashed the check and if they released my car they were responsible for the $3,000 payble to CPS. 2nd, CPS then told the body shop I was 68 days behind in my car payments, which would have been accurate if I hadn't made arrangements to have May & Junes payments deferred. CPS told me the body shop called them about the check, I asked them how does that make sense when they received their money & I've had my car back for over 2 months? She couldn't answer that and the person who contacted the body shop just so happened to be on lunch. Her "Supervisor" says its not noted on my account that she gave them that information, she began to be rude and not listening to reasoning which was the only thing that made sense.

I went to the PA Fair Debt Collection website and filed a complaint, hopefully there are plenty of complaints similar to mine and CPS is sued! I say we all file complaints and see how far it goes.
