Unum is the LAST insurance company on the planet to do business with from a policyholders viewpoint. They have been fined MILLIONS of dollars for fraudulently denying policyholders claims and operate in a corporate culture that believes it ia ABOVE THE LAW.

I filed a claim in May for an injury sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Despite the findings of two M. D's stating that the injuries were caused solely by the motor vehicle accident they denied the claim =. Reason, preexisting condition. After hiring an attorney and filing an appeal they "DISCOVERED" It was NOT a preexisting condition. They now claimed i was not eligible for disability as I was not disabled even though incompetent due to heavy medication and bedridden 20 hours a day.

This is how they operate. Profit by not paying legitimate claims with no care to the suffering and devastation caused to the policyholders. Buying or Selling Insurance? Anyone on the planet BUT the 'THIEVES at UNUM
