Credit Card Canceled Despite Five Years of On-Time Payments

I have had a US Airways Bank of America credit card for almost 5 years and through tough times always kept it up. A friend told me that I should make as big a payment as I could and use my credit card for my expenses because that would save me a lot of interest. This month I made a payment of 4 times the minimum 3 weeks ago and 6 times the minimum last week. I expected to be able to take care of my daily expenses (gas-food ect.) but my card was canceled today. I have been a good customer, in fact the customer service said I had a fantastic payment history but Bank of America cares nothing about the position they have put me in. Being a good customer and paying in a timely manor for 5 years means nothing to this company!!!
