Fifth Third Bank
Stole 330.00 dollars from me

Business & Finance

I took my paycheck to the Fifth Third Bank in Medina, OH on Saturday the 17th of May. I have receipt that shows that i did just that. After depositing i asked the teller when the funds would be posted. She replied the funds will be posted on the 19th of May. I decided to go out of town for the two days i have off Monday and Tuesday, so Sunday night I made online bill payments to ten creditors to be taken out on Monday the 19th. When i arrived home from my trip i checked my account and much to my suprise there was an overdraft fee of $330.00. I called and asked the online banking number and they said that any deposit made on saturday will not post till Monday night at midnight. OMG all my bills had came through and they charged me 33.00 a shot ten times 33.00. The deposit of saturday would not be creditied till the 20th. The slip says the 19th post date but the money was not available till the 20th. Why in my right mind would i have made those bills payable on the 19th if i knew in fact that there would not be money available till the 20th. After trying to talk to the bank they said that they could credit my account for $66.00. Wow very nice of them. But where is my $330.00. It was not a holiday. It was just any other day. My deposit slip says post date on the 19th. Not fair. I want my money back.
