ETPPLUS MEMBERSHIP LLC consumer fraud ripoff

I was also a victim of this company, i was sent a mailer inviting me to apply for this offer, it was a checkcard by mastercard, i thought i looked into this situation carefully so i thought at the time,

Well i went online to see the benefits of this checkcard, which i had no problem finding out, because it is a web base sight with different companies offering the same service,

It works like a debit card, that you directly deposit funds, and the card works like any other credit card, due to it carries

The logo of mastercard, it's not revolving credit nor was it a secured card, so in laymans terms, the money i deposit is the only funds available, there is no billing,

Where like most credit card, you pay a minimum each month, it works in the same principle, like your everyday joe bank,

What funds you plug in, is the only funds available, nothing more, just that with this checkcard, it carries the logo of mastercard, so you basically have an atm/credit card.

Well before i really got hooked and researched more, i authorized a bank draft for the $99.00 one time fee, this covers the processing, i didn't find this odd yet, because some major credit cards has application fee or annual fee, ranging from $0.00-as high as $79-89.00,

So no red flags there, needless to say they were unsuccesful in the draft #1 (ach) fortunately i had insufficient funds at the time of the draft, so i recieved my normal fee from the bank.

Then they were successful the second time drafting the $99.00 fee, but then a week later, a draft of $30.00 was attempted from my account from the same company,

Well i called them on it, and the representative, stated that since my first draft attempted was non-sufficient funds, that i was charged a returned draft fee, i argued the point that they have recieved my 99.00 fee successfully and that they should in good faith waive the return draft fee, and not attempt it again,

They in return acted snobbish, and simply stated that our original conversation was taped and that i agreed to any and all terms, which included small talk of the fees and provisions, and bylaws, that i apparently agreed to over the phone,

Well needless to say, i requested a refund of my $99.00 fee, and strongly suggested that they do not attempt trickery from me getting my just $99.00 refund, no $30.00 subtract from the $99.00 would be acceptable,

Well they of course stated that i need to write them to cancel, and ask for my refund, and that it would take 4 weeks to get it, i complied, and 3 weeks later i called to follow up on my refund request,

Well needless to say the phone service has been turned off, the 800-477-3498 from the invitation card, and the 877-700-2073 from the letter i recieved with the package to complete the process

So to you, do your homework on everything before you commit, where i did the opposite of doing my homework during the process, where it became too late to stop the process, the end result i lost $100.00 just that fast.
