Ripoff business from hell

I got my money back, here's my story...

I was a victim of the "scam" from American Credit Solutions. I got the infamous yellow postcard in the mail and called the number and submitted my information thinking I would receive a Platinum Visa card for use anywhere visa is accepted.

I was misrepresented in this way, only receiving a merchandise card to oder stuff from the catalog supplied. I called ACS to tell them I wanted to be refunded. They still tried to talk me into keeping the card and ordering their "quality" merchandise and this will make me eligable to receive an actual visa card. I refused, so they informed me how to send back the entire package. They give you a RAN#, which is the date in mm/dd/yy form and you have to put this on the front of the package you are sending back. You must send back everything, and I even sent back the priority mail package it came in. I sent it with delivery confirmation, so you know when they receive it back.

I took me many phone calls. I called them to tell them I had sent it back and received delivery confirmation, they said they had to wait to get confirmation from the warehouse that they received it. It took another call again after that (because they said they would call me back and never did) to ask to be put on the refund list. This was a Monday, they said they would put me on the refund list for Wednesday because all refunds are done on Wednesday.

Suprisingly enough, the funds were deposited back into my account on Thursday. So if you argue and follow all their directions exactly, you can get your money back. Be consistent and don't back down. Now I just have to worry about who else they gave my bank account information to. Good Luck.
