Lies about wanting to help avoiding foreclosure

I have the same problem with another consumer on usacomplaints.com.

Aurora Loan Services completely lied about their willingness to help people with financial distress and not able to make payment.

They always say and advertise for homeowners to call them at first sign of not able to make payment. So, I called them months in advance before I actually started not able to make payment. They told me they couldn't help me until I am actually late with payments. I called them several more times and got the same answer from them-that I am not late and they cannot help me at all. So, following their instructions again, I called them after I was late. They said they would have loan counselor call me back, but they never did. I called them many more times before able to talk to someone. Now, they said they could not help me because I was already late in payments. They said I should have called them before I was late in making payment. Is this a Catch 22 or what?

Now they talk about foreclosure and cannot help me at all. They wont modify the loan - reduce the payments or lower the interest rate for a short time, extend the loan term to reduce the payment, etc...

Is there anyone having this same problem with Aurora not working with you to help keep your home and avoid forclosure? Help!!!
