Wilshire Is Insane - Offers help, loses paperwork, declines to respond

My husband broke his leg on the job in July 07. At that time we were catching up on bills from his last layoff. When we called Wilshire to inform them that we were now living on half my husband's pay (workmen's comp.), they were polite and asked us to send them our last two years worth of W2's, income tax files, bank accounts, pay stubs, etc. We did so immediately, having to come up with several dollars out of our already-stretched pockets. They never responded.

A week before Xmas 07, we get a mailing tube from them, with a flyer and a pair of dice enclosed. The flyer has a picture of a smiling model and says "Don't Gamble With Your Future - Call us for help. "The irony of this action was not lost on me. We have tried repeatedly to request their help. We requested a Forbearance Agreement and were denied. We requested a Loan Modification, and were denied. We also suggested a Deed in Lieu and were denied that as well.

Then, the day after Xmas, we received a letter stating they wanted to help us and could possibly offer the following solutions: Forbearance Agreement, Loan Modification, Payment Plan, Pre-Foreclosure Sale or Deed In Lieu. All of the exact things we begged for for months now, they offered to us the week of Christmas.

Jan. 6 '08, a process server shows up at our door with a notice that Wilshire and now Wells Fargo, have filed a motion to foreclose. This is despite the fact that Wilshire's last communication to us gave until the 10th of January to respond. Convienently they have not responded to either of the $8.00 worth of packets of info we've sent.

They are horribly disorganized and appear to run by a group of people with the perverse decision making skills of a 14 year old. I hope that their lack of business sense eventually catches up to them, HARD.

And I've seen another thread here on this company,
I'd like to say to the person that rebutted it, they certainly DO ignore the information they request, "lose" it, and generally act like feudal lords.
You can't say anything that will convince me they have anything but their own pockets in mind.
