Ripoff destroyed my credit

My son bought a home last year, financing it through a local mortgage co. Who then sold his mortgage off to Wilshire Credit Corp without any notification to him. He made his payment monthly to the original mortgage co. Who was forwarding it to Wilshire without his knowledge until lo and behold Wilshire decided to foreclose on his home!!!

They were receiving his money every month without crediting any account or even paying his real estate taxes for an entire year!

Now this is where I come into the picture as his father. I had nothing to do with his home loan in anyway but I also received foreclosure paper work from the courts because Wilshire had obtained an in correct forwarding address and we both have the same first name but different middle names.

It took about two months for Wilshire to straighten out the mess they created for my son but little did I know what they had done to me until I recently applied for a home equity loan and was denied due a Wilshire foreclosure on my credit report!!!

I am now going through the headache of trying to dispute
these items from Wilshire on my credit reports as well as
attempting to get Wilshire to do something about it.
