RJM Acquisitions
LLC False collection claim, and I'm not alone

I received a collection letter from RJM Acquisitions, and immediately attempted a phone call to inquire as to why I am receiving a collection letter regarding a Wachovia bank account that has been inactive for 4 years! In addition to that, I had opened the account in July... This letter stated the opening date as May 21... When I was out of the country!
So I called their 1800 number during normal business hours... And they were closed. I decided to google their company in hope of finding a website I could send an email communication to, and instead found, under every result for RJM, something to do with "The complaint."
It seems this company has done this various times before, and from what I've gathered so far, most of their false claims deal with bank accounts. I am interested in the legalities of what do do here... I am trying to rebuild my credit, but i will NOT pay this false claim... Any suggestions?
