Cross Country Bank
Ripoff hidden fees harassment

Business & Finance

I was offered credit card for $35.00 that had $350.00 credit limit. Used card one time and got statement with an extra $115.00 in fees added, plus these fees took the card over limit which caused more fees.

I immediatly called company and got no where. I then cut up the card, wrote a dispute letter and enclosed a check for the purchase amount. I sent copies of the card offer and all other paperwork.

Company calls me at work 4 and 5 times a day. Claims to have never received the letter (got my check but no letter). I have since mailed two more letters, one certified mail.

When I mention harrasment or the Fair Credit Collection Act I am told that they are calling from Florida and that it doesn't affect them. I've been told they will continue to call until I pay, that they are not harrassing me.

I have also been called by 2 seperate places claiming to be collection agencies for Cross Country.

I have taken a name and marked time and date of each call.
