Holds Checks To Maximize

Bank of America did it again. I went to deposit my payroll check as well as cash - Guess what both were placed on hold for 7 days - The funds from the check were released several days ago and the funds are still on hold. When I called to ask what i could do about this a very rude customer service rep stated that once a hold has been placed there is nothing they can do to release it - i find that strange - what is even worse is that they would hold a cash deposit for the 7 days because they were made at the same time - Uhhh cash is cash!

Funny how they sent an automated check returned it and charged me - when there policy states that they will not send auto checks unless the funds are available in your account - I have had an additional 2 charges go through that are normally auto deducted but through credit just fine!

Additionally they process charges in order from highest to lowest maximizing there fees. A debit charge on Monday should not go through on Friday because a larger charge was made on Thursday that will OD the account by 1 cent. The charges should go through in order received. This is where the problem lies. Not because I cant balance my check book.

If I make a charge when there is not funds available even by 1 cent the charge shouldn't be processed in the first place - It seems to me that there system looks for ways to OD your account so that they can charge fees and upset the balance of your check book. Especially when they practice unfair hold on funds that are available.

Heres my solution - Im changing banks as soon as possible! I know that id join a class action suit against this company in a heartbeat as well as many other people. People have sued Bank of America before and were successful!
