Ripoff deceptive company

I was trying to clear and correct an error that has blackened my not so good paying habits. Not really understand how this is done, I signed up with Junum for their "Free membership". No monthly charge, just $5.00 per dispute and $15.00 per deleted item.
I used my credit card that is also a debit card. I found that they contact three credit reporting groups, for each dispute (valid or not) have per them submitted letter for each and on a joint account for each spouse. So for each reporting group, 10 disputes, counts as 20 (self and spouse) for each company, utilimately adds up to 60 disputes at $5.00 - $300.00 and they haven't done anything.
Realizing this possiblity I wrote the company, Mr. Garcia replied and suggested $70.00 had already been charged, I could change my membership to the monthly $74.90. I told him that I had requested a stop payment on my card, to give me an address to send the $4.90 and to cancel my membership immediately. On 8/16/02 he replied and told me that my membership was cancelled.
Talking to my bank about my stop payment, it seems that they used a Point of Service (POS) transactions instead of a credit card transaction and I have found that a POS can not be stopped, only by cancelling the card and re-issueing it. I told them Junum had cancelled my membership on 8/16/02, however on 8/17/02 two POS payments of $40.00 were processed. Needless to say I have cancelled my card and have contacted the company for a refund. I wish I had been more cautious about this, but knowing little about mending my credit, I feel I was easily lead.
