Ripoff steal customers vehicles then sell them

My parents have been cutomers of Horizon Federal Credit Union ever since I can really remember. At least since I was 16. Seeing as how my parents had been with them for so long I had decided to give them a try by myself with a loan for a vehicle.

So in February I had went ahead and got a car loan from them for my 2004 Ford Focus. Now in May My fiance had some problems with them. They were going after HIM for money.

In August we had also went ahead and got a 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport. Then in October is when the problems had started.

On Halloween night they had repossessed both of my verhicles. They said it was because my fiance wrote a bad check on his account so they had ASSUMED that it was for my car insurance.

They did not have prrof of this, but I had proof that I had paid for my car insurance WITH CASH IN HAND! So my fiance and I went to a lawyer and after having to pay for the lawyer, BROKE!

So we had to pay for a lawyers conceltation of $200, then we had to pay to get them out of the banks care, which came out to be $550 and then we had to pay the payments that were owed. Because while the vehicles were in their possession the payments were due. Just so that we could get them back.

Then on December 15 they had came and got my Ford Focus because my car payment was 10 days late. Then they had came and got my fiance's Dodge Dakota 1 week later because it was 12 days late.

Now I had went and talked to them about the situation and Kim Hughes, the Loan Officer, had gave us an attitude and it got to the point where no matter what we were not getting anywhere.

So then in May I had received papers from the bank stating that I owed them over 10,000 dollars for the difference after they SOLD MY VEHICLES!

So my question is how can these people get away with this? What makes them think they can? Al I have to say to all of you innocent people out there is DO NOT GO TO HORIZON FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. All they will do is screw you over.

They have started problems with my parents since then to the point that my parents had to switch banks.
