HELP $19 K Midland Funding suing

I have been served with a summons from Midland Funding. A bankrupcy lawyer informed me there was a case filed and offer his services. Two weeks later Jan. 6 I was served with the summons.

The judgement is for a ridiculous amount almost $19,000.00.

I have talked to 2 lawyers and told them that the info that I find on the papers is vague. The date on the back of a form that they present as mine is 2 years prior to me ever even having a cc in my name. The date shows I stopped payments in 2001.. I have bank info showing that there was money drafted out of my account for payment up to late 2004. Lawyer seems to say well they have your name, address and AN acct# even if it doesn't match. My CC was with Fleet not North Anerica National Bank at that time.

One told me to day to ball it up throw it in the fireplace and if they sue again do the same. Let them get a judgement against me... I am totally disabled and widowed on SSDI. Need some advice... Times running out.
