I recently was contacted by Wilshire about my mortgage payment. I was rudely told on the 5th of the month that my payment is due. I explained to the gentlemen that I was having a hard time this month, and that I would make the payment before the deadline of the 16th. He then persisted to tell me that the payment is due on the 5th. I was under the impression that as long as it was paid before the 16th I would not be charged a late fee. He was upset and insisted that this doesn't mean I can wait till the 16th to pay it. I said "well, yes I can".

Was upset me the most is that I have excellent credit and never been late on any payment. My credit report shows this. Here I have this company harassing me to make the payment now, like I'm some kinda of irresponsible person. I was then hung up on because i was not agreeing with this associate. I have never been treated so bad by any company.

Today is the 16th I have been on my cell phone all day attempting to get in contact with this company and they have no means of contact. I called the number to pay over the phone. The recording stated to call back during normal business hours from 6am to 5pm pacific time. I am on the west coast and its been from 11am to 1:30pm

I been redialing this number over and over. Sometimes it makes the sound as if its a dropped call, sometimes its busy, and yet other times it states that there is not a customer representative available at this time. All I have to say is this is a very frustrating situation at this point. I dont know what to do.
